Decreased finance

I was granted a home loan by Nedbank which I signed. The developer sold my stand number and then i asked Nedbank to change the stand number to the new one. Mr Andrew Williams from Nedbank is now decreasing the bond loan that i was already granted (90%) to now 80%. I do not understand how is this possible, please assist?
