Enquire - sale of shares to finalise - Late Estate

It has been found that shares belong to the Estate of Late mr JC Smit. Old Mutual has been contacted and they informed us on the documents needed. We sent it of to them on 19 April 2013, they received it on 23 rd April according to their system. Although we sent them all the documents that they needed, they indicated that they must first update their system after which they will contact the executor.
Up to today 3 May, their system was not updated and we have to wait until Tuesday 7 May for feedback or otherwise WE, must contact them again. What a service?
We had similar request sent to other companies and all funds have been paid within 4 days (Please take note not working days, but with a weekend in between.
