Sure Finance
Misleading!

After querying the possibility of a loan with Sure Finance, I was told of their 95% acceptance rate, and that the company is designed for those with a bad credit record. I was told that there will be a R290 admin fee for applying, and I did voice my concern as I was told this would be taken from me regardless of whether my loan was accepted or not. I said I was not happy about this, but the CSR assured me that there is only a very small chance that my application will be declined, and that I had already been pre-approved etc. He knew I was blacklisted, although not under administration or anything extreme, and he said it would definitely be fine and I should just accept the fee. Which I reluctantly did.

Lo and Behold, my application was declined - because I am blacklisted!! They quite frankly to me, no other way about it. And when I kicked up a fuss, they said that I was welcome to try apply again in 3 months time... What, so they can earn another R290 for just wasting my time?!
