Standard Bank's legal department won't refund

I have been unemployed for a year and 4 months, during this time I have tried my best to make my credit card and loan repayments to Standard Bank. I could not pay at all from January to March this year and I alerted the bank through the numerous consultants who called during this time.

last week (Monday or Tuesday) I received a call from a standard bank representative saying I should pay my revolving loan soon to which I agreed because I started a new job mid March 2013 and can now afford to make minimum payments - we agreed that I will go to a branch on Saturday not realising it was a public holiday (27 April). on Friday the 26th standard bank took R2 124. 79 from my account without any warning. According to general enquires my account has been handed over to legal department, I spoke to the legal department and they refuse to refund the money because they took more than what was agreed to in my conversation with their Rep.

Now I know I owe Standard Bank and my account is in arrears but this is unfair treatment. I am being punished because their representative failed to inform that my account had been handed over to the legal department also till today I have not received an s
