I complained about a year ago about my house not registered in my name with standard bank despite the fact that for over a year now my account is not in arrears. I took my bond in 2006 for R1.8M, bond term of 20 years and the balance outstanding now is R275000 according to the statement I got from standard bank. When I call standard bank home loans they say I was handed over to attorneys but they don't understand how. They put me through to the legal department which in turn put me through to another department. Ieventually called the lawyers that i'm supposedly handed over to but they denied having my file there. I need my bond account transferred in my name, removal from legal department and a full explanation as to why I was handed over to lawyers. I've been to standard bank branches and called home loans numerous times but no help. I have never even received any correspondence from standard bank about the issue of being handed over to lawyers.
