Is anyone picking up the phones at Legal

Me and my husband has a joint homeloan account with Standard Bank. We baught the house 22 months ago on a auction for R600000.00. We were told that we could apply for an increased amount within a year as the house needs to be maintained and needs repairs. Well according to Jackie at Legal my husband will never be able to loan money from Standard Bank because of his credit record. Can a manager call me back in regards to this before I get the Ombitman involved.
