Yes you have finance... um no sorry you don't

I hold in my hand a document stating that my application for finance is approved and valid for 30 days. Now 11 days later (19 days to go) I am told that actually the finance is not approved??? I have been shoved from pillar to post and back again for 11 days and have left numerous messages for no less than three people to get back to me and I am still waiting for somebody to contact me!! On Tuesday (30.04.13) I sat at FNB in Randburg for over two hours while emails were sent and not responded to and generally no body was available to assist! I would like to understand how it is possible to have an application approved and then a couple of days later be told it is not the case any longer. I lost the deal purely because it took so long to get the necessary paper work done, I then found a better deal for R20 000 less and now the application is not valid!!!
