I have been a client of FNB for 20 years. I applied for vehicle finance at online on the FNB site. I got a mail back within a few minutes asking for FICA documents. I had to mail my FICA documents five times before they were received, their server is clearly faulty as I mailed other people who received their mails. Three days later, after no response I called and spoke to various people who all said that they could see that it had been approved and that I marketer would call me. Six days later, still no call and they told me that the dealer that I was buying the car from would contact me. I called the dealer who tried in vain to call Wesbank as they had not received anything.
I called Stannic and had my FICA documents received and my finance approved at a reasonable rate within an hour, Mercedes Benz finance approved within two hours. Still waiting for a call from my own bank which is not likely to come as it'll be two weeks tomorrow and I already have my new car.
