Awaiting delivery of the bicycle since 7th of Feb - was a Valentines gift to my girlfriend.

After numerous attempts to achieve delivery of this product, I logged a call on the website. This was done on 3 March 2013 - reference number 706050.

I get a standard reply:
Kindly note we are awaiting feedback from the Products and Services Department
Once feedback is given we will be able to enlighten you regarding a delivery date and time
We do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I am afraid this is not good enough, as this is in no way a commitment to deliver my product. I do not receive any correspondence on the matter - all comms are initiated by me, no feedback on progress.

Groupon, get your act together - I will be invoking my rights in terms of the Consumer Protection Act on Monday. I point you to section 19 (2) of the CPA, which states that, unless it is agreed upon otherwise, the supplier is responsible for delivering goods on the agreed date and time. The consumer is entitled to cancel the agreement without any penalty if this commitment is not met.

I am entitled to a full refund plus interest, according to the CPA.

Almost 2 months and no delivery
