Lack of service/ refund

I paid for bluetooth headphones on 1 August. They were delvered on 15 August and proved to be faulty. I emailed Groupon Support on 19 August requesting a refund, as it was within the 7 day refund period and the unit was in exactly the same condition as when I received it.

I received an automated computer response confirming receipt of my email, but only heard from Groupon Support staff on 27 August. Support gave a collection reference number and said that the refund would be processed after confirmation of the collection. The collection took place and confirmation thereof was sent on 28 August.

Then... NOTHING. I queried the lack of refund on 9 September, and received a response on 12 September saying that Groupon were waiting for feedback from the partner (supplier) re a replacement of the headphones.

On 3 October I contacted Groupon Support saying that unless the package arrived the next day I would insist upon the originally-agreed-upon refund.

On 9 October I sent a request for refund once more.

To date, 18 October, no headphones, no refund... :-(

I will not but any material goods from Groupon again, as their guarantees are WORTHLESS - BEWARE!
