HOW GROUPON HAS OUR MONEY

We purchased a voucher for Alpine Heath Resort - at a cost of R4500
We have been trying to book with Resort and they are refusing to give us a booking for the dates we require - even though there is space available - their reasoning is that "the allocated number of Group On Bookings has been reached for the required dates."
I have tried several times to book with different dates and have been unable to use my voucher. Initially I tried booking with my voucher code and was told I could not use my voucher
I have been in contact with the resort several times now - they are not willing to compromise
I even tried booking as a non-groupon customer and was given my booking - thereafter refused as I had a voucher to be used for payment.
Upon contacting Groupon I have been told that they will not refund our money as we have fallen out of the initial 7 day period we had to make our booking - the agents we have dealt with have either ignored us or been extremely rude and condescending
All we require is a refund for something we are unable to make use of and it is shocking that this establishment is unwilling to address the matter after seeing what ha
