SHOULD your refund be processed

I bought a Groupon deal on 01/07/2013 and paid via EFT on the same day. After a couple of days I was worried that my order nor payment was showing up on my Groupon account. I queried this via email on 05/07/2013. 09/07/2013 I am advised by a Groupon consultant that my payment was not allocated to my order and the deal has expired. They then asked whether I would like the amount to be credited to my Groupon account or if I would like it to be refunded into my banking account and if so, to provide my banking details. I reaponded with my banking details as I want my money back. 15/07/2013 I get a reaponse saying SHOULD my refund be processed, I will receive an email notification. 18/07/2013 I am contacted again with an update stating that Groupon has still not found a solution to my case but they will be in touch as soon as possible. There is no need to find a solution, I have stated that I want my refund and provided my banking details. I want to know what is going on. Quite frankly, for my first Groupon experience, I would currently not make use of them again.
