Mica - Aria Hair Straightene

I was recently in The Pavillion in Durban when i was approached by a sales rep. She wanted to show me how well the Aria Hair Straightener works. The going price was R2700 which I immediately refused to pay. She then asked if i was a student, which i am and proceeded to give me "student discount" which brought it down to R2000. Still i was not willing to buy it. She then said she would give me a free comb and eye shadow. Still seeing how hesitant i was she asked me what hair straightener i currently use, which is a GHD and proceeded to bad mouth it, how it makes our hair fall out. Still hesitant she advised me her birthday was two days ago and she would give me her birthday discount and brought it down to R1700. Finally i gave in, we went to pay with my card. My limit on my card being R1500, Which she agreed to, but would not be able to give me the comb anymore because of this. I've since decided to return it, 3 days after buying it, they informed me i can't return it as it was a promotional item. The man who was 'helping' me was very rude and disrespectful. When bringing up The consumer protection act got very uptight. I will be taking this further.
