I am not impressed with Giselle's service given to my dad. He was hoping to fly to Thailand today but could not do so. Giselle sent my dad a quote, which states that it is only valid for 24 hours, to which he replied the next day confirming that he was going to take the offer. She took all his credit card details and he had to complete a booking form, etc., however, she then emailed him back, after everything was confirmed, saying that there is no availability at The Old Phuket Hotel anymore and that she could book elsewhere but for R6000 more than the original rate. She gave him the quotation confirming that there was in fact availability and he did respond within 24 hours. How does that work? I have worked for Hotels for many years and you cannot do such a thing. If you send a quote to a client and the client responds and accepts the quote, you are obliged to arrange for those specific rooms to be available or arrange something of a similar rate elsewhere. Besides, how could Giselle confirm flight tickets if she was not 100% sure whether the rooms were also confirmed? I contacted her and Robert Sneddon who did not assist much. Very dissapointed in the bad service!!!
