We specially booked on the Greyhound bus because I suffer from arthritis in my hips and the Greyhound offers better leg space. The tickets were paid and the seats confirmed - B3MHEZK8 and B3MHECRC for our trip to Johannesburg on 2 April 2013.

Big was our surprise when we received a sms at 16h13 (2 hours before departure) that we are travelling on a Springbok Atlas bus. We had no choice and not even an excuse or payback, because we hand to use an inferior bus!

We had to travel for 17 hours with legs that were forced into the small space, no hot water, due to a broken boiler and nobody could lay back and rest, because we were lying on each others chests! We all compromise and drop the seats just a bit to enable us to at least move our legs a bit.

If we chose to travel with a smaller bus, we were prepared to suffer, but seeing that we paid for a better service, we also expect that service! We will never make use of Greyhound again and discourage anybody to use them as well!
