Greyhound bus substitued with a Mega Coach

We booked tickets for greyhound, to travel from cape town to johannesburg. To our uprise, we had to get onto a mega coach. An old bus with little leg room and very small hand lugauge space. No where on the ticket, at check in or via smsm did it say we will be boarding a mega coach. We wouldve changed the tickets if we had notice of this. an hour into the journey the wiper on the drivers side broke off and had to be fixed, that took an hour, this tells me that the bus was not checked when it left the depo. To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint, as instructed by the cabin crew on the trip, and the Customer Complaints Manager came back to say that the sister coaches is the same as their greyhound coaches. If i wanted to book on another buss line i wouldve done so. So dissapointed in the response i got from Juan-Pierre Du Buisson Customer Care Manager. He could just as well have said, "Good day, i dont care if it looks the same or not, the point is that you got to joburg" in his response. He also said that "Greyhound/Citiliner may, revise seat allocations and operate substitute vehicles of substantially the same standard to those advertised. " Angry Client!
