Flight price increases whilst finalising payment

I tried to book a flight, and was switching between different flight options and airlines which meant I was looking at the same flight a few times. After deciding I was going to take the flight priced at R1118, finalised the booking and proceeded to the check out page - the final page where payment is made and card details are provided. After populating all the information and pressing the pay button I received an error message stating that an error has occurred with the payment. After again filling out the details I received the same error, I even went back to the previous page and redid the entire procedure. I refreshed the page and restarted the booking from scratch. Then suddenly the flight I was trying to book at R1118 jumped to R1312. It is as if the site remembers that someone has been looking at the page, then increases the price when you want to book it and whilst you trying to book it at the price you see it keeps you from paying. This is ridiculous -the price you see is the price you pay-that's the case with all other industries. I have print screen proof where the flight displays at R1118. If the price is what it is on the final page, that is what the customer should pay!
