I was booking a flight from johannesburg to east london at the exact same time as my girlfriend. we had both selected the first flight at about R650.00 and the second at R800.00. We decided to hit the "proceed to payment" button at the exact same time in order to avoid one of us not being able to get onto the flight. And so we both clicked and one of the pages proceeded to the payment page, and the other said "your flight is no longer available at this price" and we had to re-book the one at a more expensive price. Now while i understand that there might be an allocation of seats for a certain price, this is simply not acceptable when the customer (my girlfriend) had agreed to the R650.00 price by going through the steps and then clicking proceed to payment. If she had booked 10 minutes later than me to find that the price has increased, that is 100% acceptable. But when she had already selected her flights and had filled in her information and other choices, this is frustrating, disappointing and simply not ok. The principle is enough to not want to do business with Kulula again.
