I am beyond shocked at the calibre of service by Greyhound. My sister booked a return trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town departing from Park station for Thursday, 28 March at 6pm. She was there over an hour before only to be informed that the bus was delayed. Not delayed by 30 minutes or 1 hour or even two hours, the bus only ended up arriving at 11:30pm! This is absolutely ridiculous. Commuters were left stranded in unsafe conditions at Park station with very little communication or any assistance... FOR 6 HOURS! This is completely unacceptable, and caused huge inconvenience as this impacted not only my siter's arrival time, but was a huge inconvenience. She is a young lady on her own, stranded at an unsafe bus station, and was traumatised. This is not what commuters pay for and we require a refund for this horrendous lack on service or we will be sure to inform everyone (including the consumer media) about this incident and advise everyone we know to never endeavour to travel by Greyhound!
