I booked 4 tickets through flight centre with the instructions that all seats must be together and that access to the executive lounge at all stop overs must be arraigned.
when verifying this about 2 weeks before departure I found that no seats had been reserved and that my family now had to sit apart from each other I am traveling with my two children and the younger one has Asperger's syndrome (a high level autistic child) and abnormally high levels of anxiety, this was explained prior to making the booking and thus the reason for using a travel agent and not booking online direct.
The executive lounge was not booked for the Melbourne departure although paid for (or so I thought)
I have made several requests for the agent to rectify the situation but to no avail. I even went to the head office and appealed to them and have never heard back. the flight leaves in a few hours and it appears that Flight Centre has washed their hands of the situation. They have my money why would they rectify?
