I bought an airline ticket from Mango 1 March 2013 via their PayD option. I did not receive conformation of payment from Mango but did however receive an sms from my bank stating that the amount was deducted from my account.
I contacted Nedbank who told me that the amount R 6 900.00 was pending authorization, I contacted Mango to ask them if they were going to bank the amount... they said that they could still not see my payment and that they thought it will be better to cancel the transaction.
Mango sent a letter to Nedbank cancelling the transaction, (the money was back in my account).
According to them the transaction was cancelled and the R6 900.00 will not be deducted from my account again, Nedbank confirmed receipt of this letter.
6 March 2013 - Mango bank the R6 900.00 which they cancelled (they took the money after cancelling it without any authorization from me)
After several attempts to get answers I now know that their PayD system is not working (apparently there are many people with the same problem than me)
When I asked why it is taking so long they said because they have so many refunds to attend to...
Calling them does not work, they send you round in circles.
