Without notifying us, Air Namibia cancelled the flight to Windhoek. We discovered this when we tried to check in online on 25 December. The Air Namibia call centre assured us that they had done the necessary for us to be transferred to the SAA flight at 9 am on 26 December.
When we arrived at the airport to check in, the SAA personnel informed us that a 'FIM' should have been issued by Air Namibia and that this was not done. Without this we would not be able to board the flight. We then tried to contact your call centre that did not answer, the counter at the airport was closed and British Airways informed us that you no longer have a cooperation arrangement with them. Ultimately we had to pay SAA R 6, 278 to issue us tickets to board the flight. We were only just in time to board the flight
Since the 7th of January we are trying to get the refund from from Air Namibia
Helvey promised me numerous times that the will pay the next day - My telephone records from my work phone showed that I have called her 18 time - still with no luck!!!
Will the only option then be legal action?
