Luggage "misload" then

I boarded from Durban to Johannesburg, but my luggage was as Mango help desk state "misloaded". I reported the matter on arrival in Johannesburg. Katlego at the Mango service counter provided me with a reference number and said Mango will contact me the next day. I called Mango the next day, Tuesday and they stated the suitcase was in Cape Town and will be forwarded on the next flight. Same done and it was delivered promptly at my property the afternoon. Luggage was still locked.
When I unlocked and opened the suitcase I immediately saw some of the content was.
To clarify as my hand luggage was too heavy I had to place some property, TOM TOM, Ipod and funny enough R300 biltong in my luggage. These are the items.
I just wonder if my luggage did not fly around the country, would this still have happened? What about the CCTV cameras? Mango (Katlego) said he will ask the manager for feedback. No feedback yet.
