Booked the Sails from 24 to 29 December 2013
I don't believe that the Sails is worthy of 4 stars! Certainly not for almost R9000!
Staff manners -Asked family member to collect keys -we were running late from Jhb on the 24th. He battled to get through by phone- always busy - only one line?
He finally got through and was told to call back - he tried to leave his number, as it was difficult to get through, and was rudely fobbed off, and told that they could not call him back!
Parking - parking allocated to us was someone else's regular spot - as per security.
Faulty iron - called Shevonne on cell - she said she would call back - no response. Someone did breeze in 2 days later - no intro - just asked about the iron and left! DSTV - 99% of the listed offering did not work - said "connection lost" - an there was no bad weather! En suite bathroom waste and plug were missing - could lose any items that fell in. Hot/cold caps were missing from a set of taps in both bathrooms.
Some not-so-clean bedding - pillows and bed were stained. Nightstand dirty.
Cockroaches - got into our luggage
Despite having sent two emails to the OWNER, no response to date
