REALTIME MARKETING / TOUCAN TRAVEL / HOLIDAY CLUB
What nonsenses. I was halfway through booking a family holiday in Mauritius when I supposedly won holiday accommodation in Mauritius after attending a sales/marketing presentation for the HOLIDAY CLUB Group. REALTIME MARKETING manages the presentation and sales. TOUCAN TRAVEL mailed me a voucher that read "complimentary accommodation, you pay only for your meals! ", and I had to pay a R178 admin fee for 2 adults.
After waiting in anticipation I received quotes from TOUCAN TRAVEL that were similar to the offers/promotions of any other travel agency. The TOUCAN TRAVEL quotes were promotional offers with no "prize" or "free" accommodation in sight. In fact from trip advisor it was obvious that the resorts on offer were sub-standard compared to the resorts on offer from the reputable/well known travel agencies - but at the same price.
Unfortunately this debacle resulted in a 3 week delay of my holiday plans.
The resort I initially earmarked for our family holiday, Veranda Pointe Aux Biches at R32900 (All Inclusive), is now fully booked.
I am now left with an option that is R6000 more expensive because I was
