Refund for a duplicate booking

I made a booking online, on d 12th Jan 2014, 4 a return ticket 2 CPTIA, after clicking confirm booking, an error message popped up stating that the website is temporaly unavailable. I then assumed that the booking did not go through hence d error message... I then re attempted the booking in a space of an hour but this time only booked a single flight to CPTIA, d booking was successful. 2days later I received 2 emails confirming payment for 2 payments. I then contacted d call centre and told em wat had happened cauz now I found myself occupying 2 seats on 1 flights. The first booking ref is FTWWWV and the second booking is GEYSTY. I then asked Karim to cancel REF: FTWWWV because that booking never went through on my side, I didn't receive any notification dat it been confirmed till 2days later and d amount only reflected d next next day so there was no way I could have known before making the second booking that d first 1 actually went through. Karim advised dat Business support says dat there was no fault in d system. I then spoke 2 Nabeelah Ajam, who queried wit refunds division & advised they can only put d R2609 on a travel bag. I rejected that cauz I needed d money.
