Can't do cancellations on a decembe

I went and made a booking for the 2nd of january, unfortuanately couldn't get a lift to drop me off at the bus station, I went back to checkers to change my dates of my ticket as it hasn't been used, paid 300 4 the ticket and they tel me I can't get a refund and I can't move the dates, I mean like??? I didn't even use the ticket and now I got to book another one?? And I'm a student, with my student discount I'm suppose to pay 278 but I pay full price, translux is the worst bus service ever!!! Highly disappointed!
