Mango Airlines
You cant use one bag unless you are married

I flew with Mango airlines on Sunday 01 December 2013 from Johannesburg (ORT) to Durban on flight JE 247

To my absolute astonishment when I checked in with my fiance (of 10 years) with one suitcase that we had packed (like we always do) we are told it was overweight and because we don't share the same surname it cannot be accepted as one bag and we were forced to pay an excess baggage charge.

And to cap it all when we flew back on the 6th of December the Lady in Durban said we can have one bag as the booking was done under the same reference... albeit we had already bought another bag... another wasted expense.

I have obviously sent through a complaint to Mango but have had no response to date... they don't care... not enough competition in our country... and they can keep going back to big Daddy and ask for more money fro a S$%# service!!

I wont fly Mango again I would rather pay extra and Fly BA
