Sitting I'm Port Elizabeth airport with estimated 6 hour delay. BA6242 technical issue. No communication with customers, no offer of any compensation, meal vouchers, use of airport Bidvest lounge denied.

Only communication is to ask the ground staff - not allowed to make announcement to their customers?

My complaint is not against the aircraft fault, I understand the safety issues involved, it is about the lack of customer service. A number of elderly people on flight and mothers with young babies
