Ad policy

My wife and i checked in at OR Tambo international to Port Elizabeth on Tuesday 19/11. We packed a combined bag of 30kg. The max weight allowance is 20 kg per person, which means we were 10 kg under the limit, we also had only 1 laptop bag for hand luggage. But because we have travel on different surnames, we were forced to pay R300 ekstra for overweight luggage. If we had the same surnames, or our marraige certificate, this would not be a problem. I think this policy discriminates agains all unmarried couples and people who travel together.
