We joined Flexi Club in 2006, and we pay our fees annually in October for the following year.
However, we are pensioners now and can't afford these fees anymore. We were advised that we could cancell if we meet the following criteria.
Membership for at least 5 years, all fees up to date, and bond amount settled.
We met all these requirements at the time.
The deadline for cancellation was Friday, 31 May 2013.
Our server was down the Friday, and we could only email our request for cancellation on Monday 3 June 2013.
Our queries in this regard was met with " we are investigating your query" for several weeks.
Our request was then declined on the basis of not meeting the criteria?
Does that refer to the 3 days we were late with our request?
Although the contract was cancelled, Flexi Club submitted the annual debit order against our bank account.
The debit order did not refer to Flexi Club or our membership number at all. It stated "Insurance Premium"!
We fortunately managed to reverse that debit order, but we now receive emailed statements on a daily basis. PLEASE HELP. This is very stressful.
