On June 6 this year I was invited to a presentation to one of your regional offices above. I must say that the presentation was good, in fact it sounded too good to be true but the consultant ensured me that whatever they are offering will be what I sign up for. 1stly, I was told that Im purchasing 3000 points, that as a special offer I get 3825 lifetime bonus points, 6000 additional BONUS points valid for 3 years, plus 10 bonus weeks. 2ndly, that these points WILL BE available 2013 and 3rdly that I will only have to pay annual levies of approximately R 4949, due or payable in December 2013. They explained that the points that I sign up for on that day, if I do not use it during 2013, will then be a whopping 20225 points in January 2014.However, I am appalled by changes in the agreement that occurred since singing up. 1stly, the Customer care and Accounts Departments verified that I do not have any points for 2013 and that it will in fact only come in effect Jan2014. 2ndly, that sales consultants cannot provide quotes for levies- this can increase, yet I was told that it does not and WILL BE R4949 approximately. However, I received a bill in September of approximately R7700.
