Inconsistencies in SAA.
Return JHB-Umtata on airmiles.
1) the SAA Website states "anyday" option of 31, 000 miles
2) the call centre staff quote 32, 000 miles
3) 36, 000 miles were actually deducted!
I (via my wife) needed 4 returns on airmiles "ed above 31, 000
I queried 4/9 @19:30. Was promised a return call. Promise made by Regan Johnson of SAA Voyager.
5/9-no call - i called again - to be advised "my manager in meetings" - who is more important - int. or external customers? I was promised a call by 10:30 6/9. No call.
7/9 still no call. @16:55 Regan called. Manager will call me back. 17:00 Regan call - manager will call tomorrow... still waiting
9/9 i called @20:55. left a message with duty manager (Shinghiwe) for Regan 2 call me
10/9 Regan calls @09:00. took a while for me to remind her of my story. She said she will tell her boss & will email contact details. No email!
10/9 Esther Sekowa Called @17:40. said she will get back to me. NO call ever.
This. I am a GOLD cardholder. And NO OTHER MEANS to escalate a case. Never mind the 18 hours i was stranded in Angola (en route from lagos to jhb for 18 hrs in june! SAA technical issue - no reimbursement!
