THE HOLIDAY CLUB IS A

I attended a The Holiday Club seminar. We were told:

1. Resale value of points are excellent and you will sell your points for more than you purchased it
2. Accommodation is guaranteed and availability is never a problem
3. All accommodation are 3 stars or more and are wonderful
4. For the points we bought (12) we will be able to go on wonderful holidays

On these facts we decided to purchase 12 points at a cost of more than R20000.

What we got:

1. We purchased points for about R1500 per point - now we can only sell them for R350 inclusivie of 20% commission to the retailer - 85% less than what we paid for it. Then there is an additional R4000 to transfer it to someone elses name! So basically I must give these points away to get rid of it or even pay someone to take them
2.There is never availability. Even 10 months in advance there is nothing.
3. Some of these accommodation they offer are not even worth 1star!!!
4. I booked a week holiday (first time) and it cost me 14 points and this was at a 3 star place. If I paid cash for this week's holiday it would have cost me less than what my yearly fees are with THC.

FALSE ADVERTISING =!!! They should be investigated!!
