I do not know how to explain what happenned last night with Greyhound, it was beyond the word pathetic. My kids were travelling from Johannesburg to Idutywa and the bus was scheduled for 17:30, I got an sms notifying me that the bus is running an hour late, I appreciated that sms. When 18:30 came, I got another one saying it's running two hours late, as if that was not enough, they got tired of sending out sms's and Greyhound staff came to explain to us that we must expect the bus around 20:30 as it has been further delayed because it was being fixed.

My biggest problem with all what Greyhound did last night is that, if they did value passengers that are travelling to Mthatha / Idutywa / Butterworth, they should have made sure that first thing that they did yesterday morning, was to check if the bus is in order and safe for travelling instead of noticing the problem when it's time for the buS to depart.

Buses to other areas are comfortable, double deckers and passengers are treated like VIP's, blankets, coffee and cookies but the Mthatha one is not in that standard.

The bus arrived in Johannesburg at 20:40 and left at 21:15, this was totally UNACCEPTABLE and PATHETIC!!!
