I wrote a report on the unethical behaviour of [URL Removed] regarding charges for overweight (I'm not the only one - check out the reports for 20th June 2013!). I got the following response from them on the day and was actually looking forward to them sorting out the problem and re-establishing their credibility in this regard:
Verbatim quote from email received from Kulula - "Hello. Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I am really apologetic for the inconsistency in the procedures from the outstations. It is never our intention to disappoint our customers and when lapses occur the incident is escalated to the relevant station manager. Each passenger (infants, children and adults) are allowed one carry-on luggage to be stowed in the overhead lockers or under your seat. Adults may carry additional hand baggage such as a handbag, laptop, briefcase or vanity case on board. I will be contacting you on your personal email account in this regard. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity of a response. Bye for now. Fazila".
Needless to say - to date I have had NO FURTHER RESPONSE AT ALL from anyone at Kulula. I suppose they hope that I will forget their "promise" - well, I won't.
