I booked a flight in April for 24 June 2013 for my two children to Cape Town. My daughter is 13 and my son 9. When doing the online booking I was asked how many adults (13 upwards) and how many children. Obviously, because my daughter is 13 I put her up as an adult. and assumed that my son could travel with her. When I got to the counter to check them in this morning at Lanseria Airport, I was told that my son had to travel with someone 16 years and older, that my daughter could not take responsibility for him. However, my daughter was allowed to get on the plane ON HER OWN and they were even nice enough to send somebody to accompany her to the plane. When I went to the Kulula ticket sales desk I was treated rudely and with absolutely no respect. I asked what I should do now, and was very abruptly told to see if I can make a booking with British Airways or SAA., or book a flight with my children. No refund from Kulula. Now my question is this. How is my 13 year old daughter allowed to fly on her own but they can accompany her from the check-in desk to plane, but cannot do the same for my son? Not helpful at all. Will not ever book a flight with Kulula ever again!! Arrogant and rude
