I Purchased an IPAD on the 24 month promotion in October one Telkom line and a second IPAD over 24 months on my second Telkom line. The first purchased was billed correctly and the amount split over a repayment period of 24 months. The Nov. one was billed as a once of payment. That was incorrect. Why will I buy an IPAD from Telkom for a once off payment. I could have then gone to another supplier and purchased it at a much lower cost. I received my account in December and noticed that account showed and R7000 payment for the end of the month. I took it up with accounts department and they said the account will be protected until it is sorted. Every single month I have asked accounts department including visiting the local Vaal Mall Telkom shop and being asked to call the accounts department and short it out with them. I am currently overseas and is there no way that I can call the toll free number from overseas because it does not operate for overseas calls. My account is now in arrears going for 5 months and I am being charged interest for not paying. Yes, I want to pay but over a 24 month period as signed for. I asked for my accounts to be emailed but not done either.
