I took my blackberry in for repairs under warranty on the 29-03-2013 to the MTN branch in Shelly Beach. I eventually received an sms saying that i can pick-up my phone on the 17-04-2013.I went through to the store and they said that the phone was replaced with a refurbished one. When i took it home it gave me a "Phone not allowed-MM6" error. I took the phone back to the store the following day as customer care was 'useless' in assisting me to resolve the issue.
The store contacted the repair centre and they said that the phone needs to be sent back. I was infuriated as this meant another 15 day wait which i was not prepared to do. The lady said that there was nothing she could do and had to send it back but she said she will mark it "urgent" which will speed up the process. I agreed as there was no other choice as the phone was useless. I told her that i would like daily feedback as to the progress of the repair as i am not prepared to wait another 15 days.
To date i have not received a single mail or a call advising me of the progress. Being a loyal subscriber, I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED AT THE PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDED AND THE INABILITY OF THE STAFF ON KEEPING THEIR PROMISES!!!
