Problems with Porting contract to prepaid

Hi,

For the past two months I have been trying to port my cellphone number (0727324964). Enquired at both the store and phoned 808 several times that I need to contact 808 close to the last invoice date which was 20th April 2013. Specifiably asked what the process should be not to be billed an additional month. Even tried to do it the 17th April 2013 because the sim card is not in my possession but my husbands. Therefore I would be the one to contact. Not at one stage was I informed that it would be so difficult to port. If someone should check the records to see how many times I tried to cancel they would see the difficulty that I am talking.

Contacted MTN (808) as follows

*16 April 2013 - too early to change must be around the 18th. This was after 5 that I visted the store

*21 April 2013 - No cancellations are done weekends

*22 April 2013 - Service is only available from 8-5pm

So because of people's incompetence I am once again going to be billed for an extra month.
