I bought my ipad and mtn sim on a contract at the istore in Eastgate Mall in Sept 2012. From Dec 2012 my internet started giving me problems, at times I would have internet and other times there would be no service. I called apple tech support, they assisted me and the problem was solved for a short period. This happened a few times from dec 2012 until march 2013. So I went to the apple istore in menlyn to determine if the device was faulty, they tested a vodacom sim and got to the conclusion that the mtn sim was faulty.

At the mtn store in east rand mall they told me it was a signal problem and to call a number, after calling i was told that i cant be assited and that i should call customer service. After phoning a few times and holding for 15 min, no answer! So I went to the mtn store in menlyn, Yolanda assited me and after determining the sim is faulty I was asked to pay R130 for a new sim. This is unacceptable service, as I haven't been able to use my ipad's data for the last 5 months. After all my trouble mtn will not even replace their damaged goods. This is not my fault why should I be liable for this? This is below standard and I can't believe this pathetic service!!!
