No help on handset, dropped on landline

I called mtn on 808 to request my email to be fixed as I was not receiving emails anymore. I was told to call 1555 and i did.
They restored my messages, but i am still unable to click/open the email icon on settings. I ask them to fix that andthey said i should call from a different line..
I called 0831555 from a landine and entered the cellphone number that i need help with. I chose the speak to a consultant option and the man said"speak to your service provider" then dropped the call on my ear. This happened twice.
I went to their website trying to lodge a complaint and when I entered my cell number it said invalid cellphone number.
Help me to restore my email please.
