I waited over six weeks and so many phonecalls and complaints before I received a samsung galaxy s3 on cell c contract.
Not even three months and the phone stops working. I took it to the cell c shop in uitenhage where the lady filled the form and signed it in for repair. She wrote the condition was good. No scratches or cracks on the phone. When she took the phone she dropped it on the counter and two cracks appeared on the lcd.
I then get a quote for over R1800 to repair the lcd as its not under warranty!
Who must pay this?
When I phoned the cell c repair department they said to go ask at the store and see if the manager can help a they are just a franchise.
I went there and the manager refused and said I must pay because the lcd could have broken before and she doubts the fall on the counter did it.
What on earth??!!
Where do I stand in the matter? Who can help sort this out? I dont have time and nor should I be expected to go up and down to a cell c store to see who is going to sort out the phone for me.
