Proper credit checks not done

I applied for a contract via MTNSP on the 5 April and they say the process usually takes 5-7 working days which I understand. Anyway, 11 working days later I find out that my application was declined due to bad payment, which I knew was utter nonsense as I have never been late nor have I ever missed any payment of any account. Just to make sure, I went onto the transunion website to get a credit report and score card rating on myself. My credit score shows a rating of 981 out of 999 and there is no bad payment recorded anywhere on my credit report either. So, now you tell me, how it is possible that my application was declined based due to bad payment history??? I was told to enquire from the legal department about why the application was declined, but I have all the proof that I need that my credit history is impecable and I am sick and tired of the time and effort that I had put in for this issue. And the irony of all of this is that I have another cellphone contract with MTNSP that has never missed a payment and this is how they treat their properly paying customers, imagine how they treat their non-paying customers?? I am very dissappointed in the service I have received.
