I have had 6 brand new Blackberry replacements. It takes about a full day for the data to be backed up and be re-loaded onto the new one. My patience ran out on 14 February this year, after repeated malfunctions. I called Blackberry Technical support (number 1555) at 10:48 and spoke to Thupana, relaying my endless problems. I couldn't be supplied with a reference. At 11:43, I spoke to Lazola and his reference supplied to me was Lazola0784567696. At 20:35, I called MTN Network Complaints (083 900 1212) and spoke to Samantha at 20:35. She didn't supply me with a reference number: she would escalate my problem to a technician. On 19 March, I called MTN's Head Office at 13:30, spoke to Samantha and insisted to speak to the MD. He was not available. I informed her of my utter frustration to solve my on-going problems with the Blackberry. She undertook to request a Mr Pienaar to return my call. I haven't had ANY response from MTN until today. I have nearly given up on resolving my issues with Blackberry and MTN and it seems I will have to live out the balance of the 2 year contract left. While composing this email, it switched off 7 X automatically again. What a disgrace! Unacceptable!!
