Switched from Vodacom to Cell C in July last year. Horrid reception in the Melville/Westdene/Auckland Park area. It is always a struggle to communicate in this area, where I work, live and study. Obviously since I can't make calls to customer care with a bad cell reception I turned to social media to lodge complaints, several times over the last few months with no feedback. When I spoke to a shop assistant of cell c last year in December, I was told it was a temporary setback that will be fixed before the year is over. We are almost in May and communicating without wifi is an uphill battle, every time. My family and I, whom have all switched to Cell C in July last year, are extremely disappointed in this lack of regard from the cellular network. If this problem continues to persist, we will be forced to go through the shlep of switching cellular networks AGAIN. Giving me a call with regards to this is fuitile.
