Loyalty rewarded? Really???

Have just had the "pleasure" of a phonecall from Kiren - from your call centre.

Kiren wanted to "sincerely" thank me for my loyalty to Vodacom, I have had a contract with Vodacom for the last 15years. Kiren's "thanks" to me are to offer me insurance on my phone. Now naive consumer that I am, I guessed that this insurance would be free, as you ARE thanking me after all... No, apparently not the case.

So - just be be clear, Vodacom "thank" their customers by milking them for more money on a monthly basis? How about real thanks for their loyalty, how about adjusting data costs to be inline with competitors, or even automatically offering special deals like your current R249 for 2G data, whereby i pay R249 for 1G.

Vodacom have just left a very bad taste in my mouth. As a customer who spends in excess of R1500 a month for your service, I would expect a little more integrity.
