Platinum membership with Vodacom

Telecommunications

I have a cellphone contract with Vodacom. My average usage made me a platinum member - I was removed from the platinum membership without any notice. Although my average still qualifies for the membership, Vodacom now says that I do not qualify for the membership due to high roaming - Marco Adonis in an email of 22 March 2013. The Platinum membership enables the contract holder to upgrade ever year and the contact gets extended for a further period of 24 months. As my last upgrade was done in Dec 2011, my new normal upgrade should be Dec 2013. However on the system the upgrade date reflects as Dec 2014.
I cannot under stand that I'm taken of the platinum membership due to roaming - I'm still spending the money with Vodacom, and all my roaming is to Vodacom Mozambique! All the operators and the two Voda shops (Newcastle KZN and Gateway) cannot understand this. My average spending is R3 400 per month! This phone started in 1997! I think I have been loyal to Vodacom?
