Blackberry faulty battery

I have been having problems with my blackberry battery, it overheats, looses its charge and now doesn't even charge when plugs into a charge point. I booked it into your center today and at the same time was at least 5 other people with the same problem. If there is a defect with the batteries why are they not being recalled? I have to now pay for a new battery that clearly is defective! i find this extremely unfair and my blame is not with vodacom but with blackberry. Unfortunately blackberry is a company that believes that they are a company that does not need to respond to complaints and since i bought the phone from you my complaint goes to Vodacom. This is a shame as i have always been a loyal vodacom client but the product i have received has left me feeling cheated. I would like an explaint or i insist on taking my complaint further.
