Ostensibly good connection and speed test are apparently a cover up to the fact that poor connectivity and performance are possibly disguised by transparent proxy.

DNS resolution is disgustingly poor and slow.

Latency on https (secured http) connections is nauseating, giving rise to a reasonable suspicion that 8ta is redirecting https traffic also through the transparent proxy either out of lack of proper technical understanding that doing so is self defeating in terms of performance, or simply in order for 8ta to spy on clients secure connection traffic, something that is prejudicial to to customer security even if 8ta is unable to breach the encryption, because 8ta still lands up collecting, without good cause details of who and which ip addresses we connect to.

Attempts to log into my internet banking are so slow, that we sometimes time out before we are able to log-in.

Attempts to contact the data support crawl centre take unreasonably long time to be answered (if at all) and I was just dropped as soon as I managed to reach the "help desk" and the rest of the immovable furniture.
